The photography and design of the book is so beautiful. Jaw-dropping really. During the first flip through, I was very happy with this book and very excited. When I looked at it a second time, I realized that half of the dishes that I wanted to make were just described about in a few paragraphs, with NO RECIPE actually provided. I ended up feeling really disappointed, over and over again, as I went through the book. This is a big flaw. If there was an actual recipe for each dish featured, than I would give this 5 stars.
There are not all the recipes in the book. He talks about a lot of them with pictures, but there are only some recipes. The recipes that I was most interested in, he did not include actual recipes.
This book gives people the chance to experience a facet of Asian food that is starting to become a part of the street food pallet. A recipe book that will give you a better look at Asian street food.
Terrific book filled with recipes and beautiful images.
This cookbook is wonderful. We have already made several of the recipes and they turned out perfect. Recipes are easy to follow. Just love it
Great book, filled with all the recipes to try at home all the great food i've been eating for the last 2 months while traveling in Southeast Asia. Great photography, clear design.
