Over all Great Introduction to Carol's Work. The floor plans, shown with in the site plan at a large scale, are great tool to understanding how her work fits with its site. The illustrated details are great, but as always more would be enjoyed. Great pictures, but more from different angles would have added variety and an even better understanding of material and form. The Book makes one want to go visit each house to see how they work and how they weather in the Maine environment!

The book is a compelling collection of contemporary houses with striking design elements in northeast American settings

Incredible attention to details make the author's designs stand apart from most modern architecture. Her ability to properly site the homes with empathy for the land will make her works timeless.
